New Delhi Edition: Deep Tech and the Innovation Threshold – Are We There Yet? 

The Immersive Intelligence with Deep Tech Industry Workshop, held on June 24–25, 2025 at the American Center in New Delhi, brought together experts, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to explore the convergence of AI, quantum computing, and immersive technologies. Co-hosted by the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi and the University of Connecticut, the event opened with discussions on U.S.–India collaboration and featured keynote insights on innovation thresholds and strategies for startup resilience. Day one included sessions on quantum technology fundamentals, collaborative idea jams, and dialogues on transforming frontier science into commercial ventures. 

Day two focused on the business of science and impact-driven innovation, highlighting commercialization pathways for climate and environmental research. Participants engaged in a startup showcase featuring scalable intelligence solutions, followed by a venture capital panel on ethical AI and deep tech scale-ups. The workshop concluded with industry leaders sharing forward-looking perspectives on India’s role in global deep tech ecosystems and the importance of cross-border partnerships for accelerating technological breakthroughs.

Bengaluru Edition: The Quantum Shift – Where Deep Tech Meets Reality 

The Immersive Intelligence with Deep Tech Industry Workshop, held on June 27–28, 2025 at NASSCOM CoE in Bengaluru, convened leading voices from academia, industry, and startups to explore the next frontier of technology. Co-hosted by the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi and the University of Connecticut, the event featured keynote insights on quantum innovation, interactive panels on AI, cybersecurity, and scalable intelligence, and collaborative exercises focused on building intelligent ecosystems. 

Across two days, participants engaged in dynamic discussions on data-driven innovation, emerging software platforms, and the convergence of quantum and decentralized systems. The program also showcased startup pitches, networking opportunities, and pathways for India–U.S. collaboration in deep tech. Closing sessions highlighted actionable strategies for fostering partnerships and accelerating research-to-deployment ecosystems in this rapidly evolving domain. 

This workshop was co-hosted by the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi and the University of Connecticut in partnership with MeitY Startup Hub and NASSCOM.
